Children are the nation’s future. Alicia Grant, the Managing Director of Ali Mic Institute recognized the need for preliminary quality specialized adult training with emphasis in the area / field of Early Childhood Care, Education and Development for aspiring teachers when she initiated Ali Mic Institute on the 14th of January 2008.

This institution provides specialized training in Early Childhood Education of the highest caliber as Alicia Grant; the Managing Director is a Teachers’ College Diploma – Trained Early Childhood Educator and also teaches at Primary School in Kingston. She is currently reading for a Bachelor’s Degree in this skill area at the University of the West Indies, as she shares the love and zeal for Early Childhood Education as her students.

The institution currently offers two programmes / courses to students with differing levels of interest.
